systems. GDLS 350 & GDLS 355 Dual Light Sources provide a 2kHz tone output for fibre identification when used with the GRP 400 series Optical Power Meters which provide the audible alert. The 2kHz tone provided by the GDLS 350 and GDLS 355 may also be used with the GLFI 110 for non invasive live fibre identification. All common connector types are available: Universal 1.25mm adaptor, FC, SC, ST & LC for mating the Light Source to the fibre under test. Hybrid adaptors to accommodate different connector styles are available. All Dual Light Sources are supplied with a long lasting battery or may be factory configured for optional ACoperation |

| Greenlee’s Optical Power Meters |
|
|
Greenlee’s new Optical Power Meters combine functionality,
style & advanced applications expected in moreadvanced optical Test &
Measurement equipment and are available in calibrated wavelengths of 850nm,
1310nm,1550nm & the new PON wavelength of 1490nm. Referenced & Absolute optical power readings (dB & dBm) are available as standard and on-board storage of 1000 measurements for each of the 4 wavelengths is possible with the GRP 455 & GRP 460, along with the ability to up-load the results to PC via mini USB port (GRP 460 only). Review of stored field measurements is possible with the Scroll function. Additionally, an audible signal can be heard on detection of a 2kHz modulatedsignal from one of Greenlee’s associated Optical Light Sources for easy fibre identification. Non Intrusive Live Fibre Identification is possible when used in conjunction with GLFI 110. Optical radiation fromworking circuits can be detected, eliminating the potential to disconnect a working fibre, as well as detection of a2kHz modulated signal. Connection to the fibre under test is made via the universal 2.5 mm adaptor. Additional male or femaleconnector adaptor styles are available. The readily available CR 2 battery provides over 1000 operations for the power meter. A “LO BAT” display alertsthe user to replace the battery. |

| Greenlee’s Visual Fault Locator |
|
|
The GVF 610 is a high
output visible laser designed to locate and identify faults in fibre
optic cables and isalso useful when identifying breaks in jumper
cables, patch panels and other cable splice areas. The GVF610 Visual
Fault Locator may be used within the OTDR “dead zone” to identify
breaks and faults in the fibre.Fibre continuity testing on multimode
or singlemode fibre up to distances of 5 km is possible with the
GVF610. |

| Greenlee’s Optical videoscope VIS 300 |
|
|
DescriptionThe VIS 300 advances field connector inspection by a unique focus system. This development virtually eliminates the need to place the users hand in the same position each time to attain effective focus control. To inspect the backplane connector the user simply inserts the probe into the connector adapter. To focus simply turn the entire probe Ľ to ˝ turns for complete focus range. No longer is it necessary for the user to keep one hand on the focus wheel. The VIS 300 includes a bright 3.5 inch LCD display and precision optics to provide an unmatched FOV (field of view) of 630µm by 440µm. Extended use Lithium Ion batteries provide 8-10 hours of continuous use. When charging is necessary the included “smart AC charger” charges the battery in 3 hours and allows the unit to continue to operate. The VIS 300 comes with two user selected adapter tips. Optional tips for most commonly used connectors are available. The VIS 300 monitor is supplied in a padded nylon case. Both the probe and monitor are transported in a hard carry case that also includes the charger, extra tips and cleaning aids. For digital archiving of the connector polish, ODM offers the VCM 410 Video Capture Module. This accessory allows quick storage of the image to any Windows based computer. |
